The exploration and expansion of ones sensitivity to the arts is directly related to a person's environmental experiences. The primary concern of the music program is to develop the innate musical responsiveness of the individual to the highest possible aesthetic level.
In addition to aesthetic values, certain extrinsic benefits may be derived from participation in our music program. Among these are:
1. Self-confidence
2. Perpetuation of one's musical heritage
3. Self-discipline and responsibility
4. Peer interaction
5. Motor and cognitive skills
6. Use of leisure time
7. Preparation for an avocation
