Involved in strategic planning, market and product development, and evaluation of product performance. Responsible for product mix decisions, advertising and promotion campaigns. Specific Accomplishments: Developed phase-out and replacement strategy for products with diminishing profitability.

Assistant Marketing Manager (2/86-12/87)

In charge of 15 product executives. Formulated marketing strategy, developed marketing plans and set performance objectives for product lines. Monitored and evaluated product executives' action plans. Worked closely with advertising agencies in the development and execution of campaigns, and the design of promotional materials and visual aids. Involved in staff recruitment and development, sales and product training, development of new markets and products. Monitored sales performance through extensive field visits. Specific Accomplishments: Initiated reformulation and repositioning of a product to increase its annual sales by over 200%. Earned recognition and merit raises for strategic marketing innovations.

Product Executive (7/83-1/86)

Responsible for overall profitability and market performance of specific product lines. Involved in setting product performance targets, formulation and implementation of marketing plans, performance analysis, evaluation and control. Conducted field sales training sessions and worked closely with sales people in improving physician and dealer relations. Recommended appropriate product and market modifications.
